Yogena

Mantra: Yogena

Affirmation: I am in harmony

Meaning: "Yogena" comes from the Sanskrit word 'Yoga', which means 'union' or 'harmony'. This mantra is aimed at creating harmony between body, mind, and soul, and promoting a sense of oneness with the universe. It helps to cultivate balance in all aspects of life.

Mudra: Saman Mudra

Formation of the Mudra: Bring the fingertips together, fingers pointing upwards. Let your hands rest on your thighs or bring them together in front of your heart.

Effects of the Mudra: Provides balance, unity, and inner peace. Stimulates and regulates digestion. It is a powerful gesture to create harmony between the different facets of the self.

Meditation: In a sitting or standing position, begin with Saman Mudra in front of your heart. Bring the fingertips of both hands together in the shape of a lemniscate. Inhale deeply and open your arms; you open your heart to the world. On the next exhalation, bring your hands back to the mudra in front of your heart.

Applications:

  • For inner peace and balance: In times of stress or turmoil to restore a sense of calm and harmony.
  • During yoga or meditation: To deepen your yoga practice or meditation and strengthen the connection between body and mind.
  • In daily life: As a reminder of balance and harmony in all your actions.

Inspiration

It is good to simplify. Feel what your priorities are in life. We are often lived by the outside world, which alienates us from our essence. Taking time for yourself, practicing yoga, and reconnecting with nature help to restore balance. Enjoy the connection with yourself and your environment.

Explanation of the movement

Begin with silence to connect with the earth's power. We balance from right to left with flowing arms. Move on to swinging movements with torso rotation. Resilience in the legs is important; this gives flexibility and balance. Then make lemniscates with your arms, alternating with a balancing exercise with one leg in the air. Finish this rocking dance with both feet on the ground and arms crossed in front of the chest. I experience balance between the two poles within me.

Yogena

I create balance within myself and the world around me.
